Bach was 90. Bach died Friday, Sept 10 at Community Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. Minnie Viola Bach was born in St. Francis, Kansas, daughter of Isaac and Rachel Hagler, Nov. 17, 1891. She was raised in Kansas and was married at Anthony, Kansas on Nov 29, 1910 to Christen S. Bach. The couple farmed at Brush, Colo., until 1930 when they moved to a farm northeast of Savage. They farmed there and raised their family in that community until retiring and selling the farm in 1962 when they moved to Glendive. Christen died in 1972 and Minnie continued living in Glendive until March of 1979 when she moved to Richland Homes in Sidney to make her home. She was a long time member of the Savage United Church of Christ. Her interests were centered around her family and church, although she cooked for many years at the Co-op Restaurant in Sidney while they lived on the farm. Surviving her are three sons, Howard of Hysham, Clifford and Fred of Sidney; two daughters, Mrs. Melvin(Alice)Koehler of Helena and Mrs. Sigurd (Helen) Jonasen of Sidney; one brother, Silas Hagler of Brush, Colo.; one sister Audrey Anthony of Attica, Kansas; 12 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, one sister, one grandson and one great grandson. Ushers were Bob Gregg and Bob Seeve, Pallbearers were grandsons; Ronald Bach, Thomas Bach, Darrell Bach, Gary Koehler, Larry Koehler and Rich Jonasen. Musicians were Linda Lowry, Sharon Quinnell and Leila Willian. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Fulkerson Funeral Home.
