He is the son of Chris and Minnie (Hagler) Bach. In 1930 he moved to Savage with his family. Clifford married Murlene Miller on Sept 23, 1939, in Savage. They owned and operated the Cascade Motel and Trailer court until 1971, at which time they retired to Sidney. He worked for Richland County in Sidney until his retirement in 1981. In March of 2001, he moved to Billings. Surviving him are his son, Darrell Bach, Seattle, a daughter, Joyce (Rick) Flom, Billings; two sisters, Alice Koehler, Helena, and Helen Jonasen, Sidney; three grandchildren, Troy Kerner, Trudi Kerstine and Ray Bach; and four great grandchildren. Clifford was preceded in death by his wife, Murlene; a son, Roger; and two brothers, Fred and Howard. A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 21, at the First Lutheran Church in Savage. A lunch was served following the services. Smith Funeral Chapels of Billings was in charge of arrangements.
