I found sadler Jas H Hutcheson, 27; MIAUNDAJ Hutcheson, 25 Sopha Jane Hutcheson, 2 and laborer William Hughes, 12, all VA born. On the 1880 Town, Raleigh Co., WV census, I found saddler James H. Hutcheson, 38; wife MIANDA J. Hutcheson, 36; daughter Sophy J. Hutcheson, 11; son George W. Hutcheson, 6; son Stuart B. Hutcheson, 2 and daughter Lula Hutcheson, 2/12 in March. All VA born except last 2 children, in WV instead. On the 1900 Walkers Creek, Rockbridge Co., VA census, I found sadler James H Hutcheson, 57, born Mar 1843, married 31 years to wife MEANDRA Hutcheson, 55, Mar 1845 she had 4 kids, all living; sons Stuart B Hutcheson, 21, Jul 1878; Lula K Hutcheson, 19, Mar 1881 and farm laborer and boarder Roger Martin, 39, Nov 1861, all VA born. The 28 Mar "1902" issue of the Lexington Gazette sates Mrs. "Virginia Jordan" Hutcheson, wife of Hamilton Hutcheson, died at her home in Brownsburg Tuesday night after a brief illness.... Mrs. Hutcheson was a daughter of the late William L. Figgat and was born about 50 years ago in Lexington.... Sister of John Clay Figgat, Mrs. David Layne, and Miss Nannie Figgat of this place and a half-sister of Mrs. G. W. Offlighter, Mrs. S. G. Pettigrew and Houston Figgat, of Lexington. Four grown up children, together with her husband survive her. Funeral services were held at her late home Wednesday evening Rev. G. A. Wilson officiating, and on Thursday her remains were brought to Lexington and interred by the side of her kindred who had preceded her to the grave. I cannot explain why it says Virginia Jordan, instead of Miranda Jane, but she is about 50 and died on 25 Mar, though her marker says 1904 instead. She had 4 kids in 1880, including one named for her mother Sophie, so it's all coming together. (Tuesday is Mar 25th) Her father and some siblings are buried here. Many obits I've read do not refer to this cemetery as Stonewall Jackson Memorial Cemetery, though it was renamed from Lexington Presbyterian Cemetery to the former in 1863. Her gravestone says MOTHER MIRANDA JANE, Wife of J. H. HUTCHESON BORN MAR. 30, 1845 DIED MAR. 25, "1904" (despite the obit says 25 Mar 1902)
