Interment will be in Mt Olivet Cemetery, Carroll. Mr Goecke died at 6:30 pm May 20 of a heart condition between Pine Bluff and Cheyenne, Wyoming en route to a Cheyenne hospital. Mr Goecke was born April 11, 1909 at Carroll, a son of John and Emila Josephine (Emma) Daiker Goecke. He received his education at Carroll High School. His marriage to Evelyn Schulte took place July 27, 1938, at SS. Peter and Paul Church in Carroll, with the late Rev. Lambert Schenkelberg officiating. He had been a resident of Coon Rapids for the past 19 year. For 17 years, he was in the furniture business in Coon Rapids; and for the past three years was with Brooker Sales, Inc., out of Witchita, Kan. He was a member of Annunciation Church. He is survived by his wife; three children, Ronald, of the U.S. Naval Station, Japan; Cheryl and Karen Goecke, both of San Diego, Calif.; and one brother, Walter Goecke, Omaha.
