Description	:	Mrs. Harry White Laura Esther Roberts was born February 18, 1898 near Lacelle, IA and departed this life at her home in Osceola, Iowa, October 17, 1920, at the age of 22 years, 7 months and 29 days. She was the second child of Mr. J.W. and Martha Roberts of Osceola and has grown to womanhood in Clarke county. She was united in marriage to Harry White December 17, 1918 in Des Moines and they immediately made their home in Osceola. Read More	Mrs. Harry White Laura Esther Roberts was born February 18, 1898 near Lacelle, IA and departed this life at her home in Osceola, Iowa, October 17, 1920, at the age of 22 years, 7 months and 29 days. She was the second child of Mr. J.W. and Martha Roberts of Osceola and has grown to womanhood in Clarke county. She was united in marriage to Harry White December 17, 1918 in Des Moines and they immediately made their home in Osceola. She united with the Baptist church at Creston, Iowa in the spring of 1910 and in 1918 took membership with the Church of Christ at Murray, Iowa, where she held membership at her death. She was a good wife and mother and a firm believer in Christ and his church. She possessed a sacrificial spirit and expressed it in her deep concern about the welfare of those she loved most dear, as well as her friends and neighbors. She leaves to mourn her untimely going a broken-hearted husband with whom she enjoyed a splendid home life for two short years, two children Opal and Vernon Clyde. She also leaves her father and mother, Mr. And Mrs. J.W. Roberts; five brothers, Wilson, Floyd, Abner, Clarence, Bernard, her oldest brother Edmond and her only sister, Gracey, having preceded her to the great beyond. With those who mourn she leaves her grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. James Davis of Murray, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held from the Christian church Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock and internment made in Maple Hill.
