Description	:	Norma Jean Rountree, one of 5 children of Mary Minnie (Dueman) Cozad and Walter James Cozad, was born on April 6, 1935 in Malvern, Iowa. She grew up in Malvern where she attended school until starting work at the Henningson Egg Plant. Norma and Charles Andrew Rountree were married on February 9, 1955 in Glenwood, Iowa. They made their home in Cheyenne, Wyoming and their marriage was blessed with two daughters, Bonnie and Janette. Read More	Norma Jean Rountree, one of 5 children of Mary Minnie (Dueman) Cozad and Walter James Cozad, was born on April 6, 1935 in Malvern, Iowa. She grew up in Malvern where she attended school until starting work at the Henningson Egg Plant. Norma and Charles Andrew Rountree were married on February 9, 1955 in Glenwood, Iowa. They made their home in Cheyenne, Wyoming and their marriage was blessed with two daughters, Bonnie and Janette. The family lived in many communities in Oregon and Iowa before returning to Glenwood in 1970. Norma enjoyed bird watching, gardening, embroidering, cleaning and baking. She loved being a homemaker and mother, caring for her family, and enjoyed time with her grandchildren. Norma and Charles were married 55 years, when Norma passed away at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa on September 1, 2010, at the age of 75 years, 4 months, and 26 days. Norma was preceeded in death by her parents; brother Harold Cozad; sisters Eva Gregg and Deloris Hascall; and great grandson, Tayte Compton. Norma is survived by her husband Charles Rountree; daughters, Bonnie Rockwell and husband Byron, and Janette Rountree; four grandchildren, Mindy Compton and husband Robert, Joseph Rockwell, Anthony Rockwell, and Jessica Beall; four great grandchildren; sister Alice Parker; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. Miss Me-But Let Me Go: When I come to the end of the road, and the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom filled room, why cry for a soul set free. Miss me a little, but not too long, and not with your head bowed low, remember the love we once shared, Miss Me-But Let Me Go. For this is a journey we all must take, and each must go alone. It's all a part of the Master's plan, a step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart, go to the friends we know. Bury your sorrows in doing good deeds, Miss Me-But Let Me Go.
