Born Oct. 13, 1924, in Mooresville, she was the daughter of Cleates Virgil and Edith Carmichael Poe. She married William Henry Taylor April 5, 1946. He died April 23, 1986. Born Oct. 13, 1924, in Mooresville, she was the daughter of Cleates Virgil and Edith Carmichael Poe. She married William Henry Taylor April 5, 1946. He died April 23, 1986. In the early 1950s she co-owned and operated the Taylor Restaurants in Mooresville and Plainfield and the Poe House on the north side of the square in Martinsville. During the late 1950s she co-owned and operated Keises' Fine Seafood in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. From 1960 to 1970 she was a sales clerk at Habig's Casuals in Mooresville and from 1970 to retirement in 1986 she co-owned and operated Bill's Sunoco in Mooresville. She was a member of the Spring Hill Christian Center in Mooresville. Survivors include a son, William H. Taylor of Indianapolis; a daughter, Nancy S. Taylor of Mooresville; a sister, Carol Poe of Greenwood and one granddaughter. Two brothers, William and Jimmy Poe, preceded her in death. The service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Spring Hill Christian Center in Mooresville. The Rev. Mark Wright will officiate. Burial will be in White Lick Cemetery at Mooresville. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel in Mooresville and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to Spring Hill Christian Center, 1004 Rooker Road, Mooresville, IN 46158.
