Description	:	Myra Etta Wilson, the eldest daughter of Thomas and Lydia Wilson, was born March 14, 1863 at Tarentum, Allegheny County, Pa., and departed this life at her home in Nelson on June 23, 1952 at the age of 89 years, 3 months and 9 days. Her family moved to Port Byron, Ill., when she was only 12. She was united in marriage to Winfield S. Mumma Oct. 6, 1880 and to this union were born seven children, two dying in infancy. Read More	Myra Etta Wilson, the eldest daughter of Thomas and Lydia Wilson, was born March 14, 1863 at Tarentum, Allegheny County, Pa., and departed this life at her home in Nelson on June 23, 1952 at the age of 89 years, 3 months and 9 days. In 1883 the Mumma family moved to Saline County, Nebr., and there became members of the Ellison M.E. Church. In 1902 the family moved to Nuckolls county where they located on a farm northeast of Nelson and lived until they purchased a home in Nelson. They transferred their church membership to the Nelson Methodist Church in March of 1902. Thus she was a faithful member for fifty years. She attended the worship services regularly util failing health caused her absence. She leaves to mourn her passing, one daughter, Mrs. Nellie Thomas of Sheridan, Wyo., two sons, Jess of Sharon Springs, Kan., and William of Lincoln, Nebr., one half-brother, Will Marlarkey of Kingman, Ariz., 22 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren as well as many other relatives and a host of friends. Services were held this Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the Nelson Methodist church with the Reverend Harold Coates officiating. Burial was in the Nelson cemetery.
