Description	:	Myra Osten, 62, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Sunday, October 10, 2010, at the Columbus Community Hospital. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 14 at 10:30 AM at Christ Lutheran Church with Rev. Aaron Witt officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Gass Haney Funeral Home and continue on Thursday from 9:30 AM until service time at the church. Read More	Myra Osten, 62, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Sunday, October 10, 2010, at the Columbus Community Hospital. Myra Osten was born October 5, 1948, in Columbus, Nebraska, to Alfred and Evelyn (Rosendahl) Wurdeman. She was baptized, confirmed, and attended Christ Lutheran Grade School. Myra graduated from Columbus High School and the Grand Island Business College. For the past 36 years, Myra has been the Administrative Assistant to the Superintendant and Secretary for the Lakeview School Board. She sponsored several clubs at Lakeview, and was very active with the FFA. Myra was one of the founders of the Team Mates Mentoring program at Lakeview. Myra was a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church where she sang in the Adult Choir for several years. She enjoyed attending her children's and grandchildren's activities. She also enjoyed gardening. Myra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister.
