Description	:	age 91 at time of death, formerly of Humboldt, NE. area. died at the West Minister Care Tower in Orlando, FL. He was born near Du Bois, NE. the son of Jacob and Louise (Korber) Wittmer. He was baptized at the Presbyterian Church in Bern, KS. on June 15, 1915, He grew up on a farm near Bern and graduated from Humboldt, Ne. high school in 1930. After graduation, Mirl worked for Dawson grain elevator from 1932-1937 before moving to IA. in 1937. He lived there for 5 years. returned NE. where farmed south of Dawson from 1942 to 1955.... In 1958 he moved to Florida and worked for a construction CO. that installed gas lines. He continued working construction till retirement in 1977. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters. Graveside services were Dec. 6, 2004 at the Bern Cemetery, Bern, KS. Taken from his Obit. in the Nemaha County Herald.
