Myrtle Orr was born to Henry and Iva Clark in Kirk, Colo., June 10, 1920. She attended school in Summerfield. She married William Orr on June 16, 1938 at Washington. They celebrated their 61st anniversary together. They lived in Marysville and Florissant, Colo. While living in Colorado, she was the Woman of the Year with the Florissant Help-U-Club. She hiked to the top of Pikes Peak at the age of 75 and was an avid Denver Broncos fan. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1999; a son, William, in 1964; a granddaughter, Christina Orr, in 2002; a brother Walter Clark; an infant sister; and her parents. Survivors include a son, Ronald Orr, Colorado Springs; two daughters, Carold Phelps, Arkansas City, and Janet Jeanneret, Seneca; a foster daughter Dorothy Pacha, Marysville; a sister, Emma Sunderland, Marysville; a brother Willis clark, Vassar; 13 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
