At her bedside when the end came were many members of her household who had tenderly administered to her illness. She was a native of Luray, Page county, Va. and was the daughter of the late Ephriam A. and Martha Caroline Keyser. On September 19, 1884, she was married to Mr. Mauck at Front Royal where they lived for some time. About nine years ago they moved to this city where, Mr. Mauck died some four years later. Mrs. Mauck was a devout member of the Flint Baptist Church, this city and took an active interest in all the affairs of that body. She was a woman of high Christian spirit, a devoted wife and a loving mother. She formed a large circle of friends here and in Warren and Page Counties who mourn her passing. Surviving Mrs. Mauck are five daughters, Mrs. H. P. Rinker of Washington, D. C., Mrs. J. E. Showalter, of Middleton, this county; Mrs. Frank Beavers this county and Mrs. Fred Affleck and Mrs. Orville Clowser, this city; three sons, Carl B. Mauck of Front Royal, Va. and Clyde B. and Amos Mauck of Frederick County; Three sisters, Mrs. J. Frank Flinn. Mrs. John Zirkle and Miss Maggie Keyser, all of Luray, Va. and two brothers, Benton and Ashby Keyser, of Front Royal. A large number of grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Mauck on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock from her late residence, No. 305 North Loudoun street. The Rev. E. T. Clark, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate and interment will be in the family burial ground at Oak Hill near Luray. Six of her nephews will act as pallbearers.
