Description	:	Nancy A. Kennedy was born in Illinois, October 12, 1834. She was married to David Bonecutter December 25, 1853. To this union were born thirteen children, seven of whom survive her. They are George D. and Isaac L. of Choteau, Okla., Oscar E. of Pratt, Kan., James H. of Lebanon, Mrs. George Mace of Clarks, Nebr., Mrs. George Keith of Doon, la. Mr. and Mrs. Bonecutter moved from Illinois to Iowa in 1865. In 1879 they came to Smith county where they homesteaded. She was married to David Bonecutter December 25, 1853. To this union were born thirteen children, seven of whom survive her. They are George D. and Isaac L. of Choteau, Okla., Oscar E. of Pratt, Kan., James H. of Lebanon, Mrs. George Mace of Clarks, Nebr., Mrs. George Keith of Doon, la. Mr. and Mrs. Bonecutter moved from Illinois to Iowa in 1865. In 1879 they came to Smith county where they homesteaded. After braving the hardships of pioneer life they later moved to what is known as “Old Lebanon” moving to “New Lebanon” in 1887. Here they resided until 1912 when Mr. Bonecutter passed away. Since that time Mrs. Bonecutter has been making her home with her children. She departed from this life Sunday evening, November 16 at the home of Mrs. George Mace, Polk county, Nebr., age 90 years 1 month and 4 days. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren. Services were conducted by Rev. Runnels of Silver Creek, at the home of Mrs. George Mace, Monday afternoon, his text being the complete 23rd Psalm. The body was then sent to Lebanon where services were conducted from the Christian church by Rev. W. L. Stahl, of which she was a member, this being her home church. A memorial plate glass window in the church bears evidence of her goodness.
