NANCY PREVOST Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Sutphen Funeral Home for Mrs. Nancy Prevost, resident of Vilisca, 50 years, who died Sunday afternoon at her home on West Sixth Street. The funeral sermon was by Rev. M. A. Robeson and the music was by recordings. Pall bearers were Elmer Belding, Lester Loghry, Harold Hixon, Chas. L. Meyerhoff, Milton Ankeny, and Ruel Fengel and interment was in the Vilisca Cemetery. Nancy Elizabeth Weaver was born November 15, 1865 and was 83 years old at her death. Her family came from Tennessee. She was married September 1, 1885 at Clarinda to William Harrison Prevost, who preceded her in death February 29, 1933. Mrs. Prevost, who could neither hear nor talk, attended the school for deafen Council bluffs, became proficient in art work. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Anna Heller of Kansas City and Mrs. Jane Jouney of Kearney, Nebraska. Glen Hixon made his home for many years with Mr. and Mrs. Prevost and with Mrs. Prevost after her husband's death. Here to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bryant of Clarinda and Mrs. Minnie Meyerhoff of Corning. Mrs. Bryant is a nice and Mrs. Meyerhoff a sister-in-law of Mrs. Prevost.
