Moore and burial was in Villisca Cemetery. William Harrison Prevost, son of Joseph and Eliza J. Prevost, was born October 7, 1852 at Xenia, Ohio As a youth he attended the school for the deaf in Jacksonville, Illinois. In the fall of 1873, he moved with his parents to a farm near Villisca. On September 1, 1885 he was married at Clarinda to Miss Nancy Weaver. To this union one son was born, George Warren, who died in infancy. At different times, Mr. and Mrs. Prevost have moved away from Villisca, but have always regarded this city as their home and have always kept their property on West Sixth Street. Most of their married life has been spent in Villisca. Mr. Prevost was a master workman, following the trade of a plasterer. He suffered from total deafness all his life. Immediate relatives surviving are his wife, one brother, George Prevost of Ferndale, Washington and three sisters, Mrs. Josie Jones of Hoodriver, Oregon, Mrs. Alice Wales of Saith Center, Kansas, and Mrs. Minnie Meyerhoff of Corning, Iowa, Villisca Review, Villisca, Iowa, Friday, February 2, 1933, page 7
