Description	:	Obituary in the Nashua Reporter, in Nashua, Iowa, dated February 18, 1931: Nancy Jane Frazee was born May 2, 1832, near Frankfort, Ind. and there the early years of her life were spent. Feb. 6, 1851 she was married to John Campbell. The same year they came west and located in Chickasaw county, Iowa, where they spent 22 years. In the spring of 1873 the husband started west in search of a homestead, locating 7 miles northwest of Fairfield, Neb. where they spent the rest of their lives, being pioneers of two states, and knowing what that word... Read More	Obituary in the Nashua Reporter, in Nashua, Iowa, dated February 18, 1931: Nancy Jane Frazee was born May 2, 1832, near Frankfort, Ind. and there the early years of her life were spent. Feb. 6, 1851 she was married to John Campbell. The same year they came west and located in Chickasaw county, Iowa, where they spent 22 years. In the spring of 1873 the husband started west in search of a homestead, locating 7 miles northwest of Fairfield, Neb. where they spent the rest of their lives, being pioneers of two states, and knowing what that word meant for they spent all of one night hidden in a hay stack during an Indian scare. The husband died March 6, 1897, having been mortally injured by a bull. With the exception of a few years spent with her daughter Mrs. Jarred, she had lived on the homestead, personally connected therewith until Jan. 21, 1931 at the age of 98, 8 months and 19 days. The husband and five children were waiting to welcome her home on the other side. Those who preceded her were two infants, one son, James Campbell, and two daughters, Mrs. Rachel Jarred and Mrs. Ina Marlatt. She leaves nine children to mourn their loss: Mrs. Elizabeth Tabor of Mary, Neb.; Edward Campbell of Logan, Kas.; Williard Campbell of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Jane Ditson of Broken Bow, Neb.; Frank Campbell of Cody, S. D.; Mrs. Ella Bryan of Montesano, Wash.; Ethel Mock of Fairfield, Neb.; Hattie Culver of Fairfield, Neb.; and Arrena Marlatt of Yoder, Wyo. Also 53 grandchildren, 147 great grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren. Services were held in the Latter Day Saints church at Fairfield by Elder W. M. Self of Independence, Mo. Interment was in the Anan cemetery, the pallbearers being six grandsons. Other relatives attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Jim Tolle, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pyle and Roscoe Frazee, all of Bassett.
