Description	:	Nancy Mathilda Rickley was born in Athens Co., Ohio, July 14, 1852 and died at her home at Creighton, Neb. May 5, 1919, aged 66 years, 9 months and 21 days. She was married to J.S. Coe on March 5, 1873. The following year, she moved with her husband to Iowa, where they resided until the year 1884, when they moved to Knox county, Nebraska. Read More	Nancy Mathilda Rickley was born in Athens Co., Ohio, July 14, 1852 and died at her home at Creighton, Neb. May 5, 1919, aged 66 years, 9 months and 21 days. She was married to J.S. Coe on March 5, 1873. The following year, she moved with her husband to Iowa, where they resided until the year 1884, when they moved to Knox county, Nebraska. With the exception of two years spent at McCook, Neb., she resided in Knox county until the time of her death. When but a girl, she dedicated her life to God and has lived a faithful Christian life. Upon coming to Creighton, she identified herself with the Methodist church here and has been a consistent and faithful member ever since. Her daily life testified to her Faith in Christ and to know her was to feel the sacred influence of her quiet Christian character. She was kind and affectionate as a wife and mother and helpful and obliging as a neighbor. She will be greatly missed, not only by her immediate loving ones, but by the Church and many friends. Mrs. Coe has been in failing health for a considerable time and has been confined to her home for the past six months. During her last sickness, she was ministered to by her family and many friends. But it at last became apparent that neither medical skill or loving nursing could longer claim her for this world and she responded to the summons."Well done Good and Faithful Servant, thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things. Enter Thou into the joy of thy Lord." She was the mother of four children, Lulu May, who died in infancy, Mrs. Clint Hamilton of McCook, Neb.; Mrs. Roy Mitchell and Jas. F. Coe of Creighton, Neb. and seven grandchildren. She leaves to mourn their loss, her husband, J.S. Coe, her three children and three brothers, William and John Rickley of Ohio and J.B. Rickley of Indianapolis, Ind., who was presant at the funeral. Funeral services were at the M.E. Church conducted by her pastor. T.E. Smith.
