BUTTON The Remains Interred at Maplewood Cemetery Saturday Afternoon The remains of Mrs. Nannie Button, the deceased wife of J. F. Button, arrived this city at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon from Hutchinson, where the funeral was largely attended by relatives and sympathizing friends, among whom may be mentioned H. H. Gray and family, A. P. Chance, of this city, W. M. Chance, of Lyons, Kans., and Mrs. Mary Clawson, of Little River. The body was accompanied to this city by the bereaved husband, J. F. Button and son, Earl, A. P. Chance, brother of the deceased, who has been with his sister during her entire sickness, and Mrs. H. L. Leibfred, sister of Mr. Button. Upon the arrival of the funeral party in this city, it was joined by a large concourse of friends who followed the remains to Maplewood cemetery where they were interred in the family lot in which lies the earthly remains of three children and Mrs. Button's mother. The deceased, who was a niece of Judge Peyton, was 38 years of age, and leaves, in addition to her husband and son, two brothers, A. P. Chance, of this city, and W. M. Chance, of Lyons, Kan., and a sister, Mrs. Mary Clawson, of Little River, Kan., all of whom were with their sister during her illness. There was a large number of the friends of the family in attendance at the funeral services at the grave which were conducted by Elder Robert E. Swartz, of the Christian church. The pall-bearers were: John Henning, L. G. Wilcox, E. J. Rees, Wm. Hail, E. C. Seyle and J. L. Daugherty.
