Description	:	Naomi Blanche Davis, daughter of Frank and Blanche Davis, was born in Alma, Nebr., March 7, 1925, and passed away in Lincoln, Nebr., at the Orthopedic Hospital, March 7, 1941. Naomi had suffered with spastic paralysis since birth. Although she was never able to walk, those who visited her, at once became her friends. She never forgot those who visited her, and was most appreciative of even the smallest gifts and favors. She very keenly sensed the feeling of the desire of her friends to help her if possible, and... Read More	Naomi Blanche Davis, daughter of Frank and Blanche Davis, was born in Alma, Nebr., March 7, 1925, and passed away in Lincoln, Nebr., at the Orthopedic Hospital, March 7, 1941. Naomi had suffered with spastic paralysis since birth. Although she was never able to walk, those who visited her, at once became her friends. She never forgot those who visited her, and was most appreciative of even the smallest gifts and favors. She very keenly sensed the feeling of the desire of her friends to help her if possible, and the many things that were done by her friends were never forgotten. Her one desire was that she might go to Bible School. It pleased her to be told about the Bible School lessons. At one time plans were made to prepare a special chair for her comfort at the church service, but realizing that the idea of being somewhat conspicuous would affect her nerves, the plan was dropped. She was taught the way of the Saviour and believed in His Word. She leaves to mourn her passing, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Davis, of Holdrege, Nebr.; four sisters, Helen Davis, Holdrege, Nebr.; Betty Jo Woodard, Gretna, Kansas; Bonnie Ruth Ellen and Florence Eloise, at home; one brother, Frank Sherman, at home; her Grandfather and Grandmother Boatman, of Long Island, Kansas, and Grandmother Davis, of Alma, Nebr., and many other relatives and a host of friends. * * * * * * There is a light to lead us, There is a love to guide, There is a friend and comforter Forever at our side. And in this hour of darkness And heartache, may you feel That life can bring no sorrow Our Saviour cannot heal!
