She peacefully passed away after a long battle with cancer, on March 27, 1989, in the Three Hills Health Care Centre, Three Hills, Alberta, reaching the age of sixty-eight years. She grew up in the Acme-Linden, Alberta area. On January 9, 1942, she was married to Verner Andreason of Calgary, Alberta. This union was blessed with three children: Evangeline, and twins, Brian and Virginia. She was a lover of hospitality and always enjoyed serving a cup of coffee to those who eame to visit her. She went through many difficult times, and life was not always easy; yet in all this she never complained. During the last years she appreciated and depended very much on her family, and although she suffered a lot, she always had a ready smile. Those left to cherish her memory are: two daughters, Evangeline, Linden, Alberta, and Virginia and Otto, Calgary, Alberta; three grandchildren: Brian and wife Tracey; Peter, and Karen; one great-grandchild, Bobbie, all of Calgary, Alberta; two sisters, Ena Chriest Keizer, Oregon; and Mrs. Rhoda Toews, Blueberry Mountain, Alberta; three brothers: Levi, Rocky Mountain House, Alberta; Phil and Thelma, Rimbey, Alberta; and Joe and Josephine, Scio, Oregon; four sisters-in-law: Betty Loewen, Pine Lake, Alberta; Alvina and Jack Litz, Red Deer, Alberta; Betty Loewen, Linden, Alberta; and Sarah Wilson, Linden, Alberta. Preceding her in death were: her son, Brian, her parents, two sisters, and one brother. Funeral services were held on March 30, 1989, at the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Linden, Alberta. The local ministers were in charge. Burial was in the church cemetery.
