Description	:	Miss Nellie Esther Enarson, 73, longtime employee of the Northwestern Bell Telephone Company here, died suddenly at 9:15 p.m. Friday. Miss Enarson was attending a shower for her great-niece, Carold Daugard Anderson, at Van’s Chat & Chew when she was stricken. The Atlantic Fire Department’s unit was called in an attempt to revive her. She was a resident of 203 East Eighteenth. Read More	Miss Nellie Esther Enarson, 73, longtime employee of the Northwestern Bell Telephone Company here, died suddenly at 9:15 p.m. Friday. Miss Enarson was attending a shower for her great-niece, Carold Daugard Anderson, at Van’s Chat & Chew when she was stricken. The Atlantic Fire Department’s unit was called in an attempt to revive her. She was a resident of 203 East Eighteenth. The daughter of Edward and Celia Nelson Enarson was born near Villisca September 7, 1899, and attended schools in Villisca. She lived in Villisca until moving to Atlantic 49 years ago. Miss Enarson was chief telephone operator for Northwestern Bell for 43 years before retiring in 1964.She was a member of the Atlantic First United Methodist Church and the Telephone Pioneers of America. Surviving are a brother, Paul Enarson of Palm Harbor, Florida; three nieces, Mrs. W. L. (Naomi) McCormick of Atlantic, Mrs. Rober Wagner of Wheaton, Illinois, and Mrs. Robert Burgett of Minneapolis and a nephew, Richard Enarson of Corning. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Elmo. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Roland Funeral Home with Rev. John A. Lippincott of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment was in the Villisca Cemetery.
