Engle, 90, of Englevale, died at 7:35 p.m., Saturday, July 3, 1993, at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. Mrs. Engle was born Jan. 28, 1903, in Blackwell, Okla., the daughter of Walter and Nellie Richardson Gallagher. She was a homemaker and lived in Englevale most of her life. She married Cecil R. Engle in 1925 in Girard. he preceded her in death in 1967. Membership was in the Lon Helm Post No. 182 of the American Legion Auxiliary in Arma. Survivors include one daughter, Doris Hoffman of Pittsburg; one son, Alfred Engle of Arcadia; two grandchildren; four step grandchildren; four great-granddaughters; and one great grandson. She was preceded in death by sister, Sarah Fisher. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. today at the Bedene funeral Home in Arma, with the Rev. Chris Conklin of the Arma United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Englevale Cemetery. The casket will be closed prior to services today.
