Her passing came as a welcomed relief to her long period of illness. The daughter of Z T and Ellen Snodgrass, was born at Beaver Crossing, February 4, 1381. She grew to womanhood in the Beaver Crossing community, receiving her early education in the Seward public schools. February 24, 1903, she was married to Lewis W Hansen at Beaver Crossing. Following their marriage they resided in the Beaver Crossing community until the passing of Mr. Hansen in 1937. Mrs. Hansen continued to reside there until 1952, when she came to Central City to make her home near her daughter, Mrs. Irene Justice. Mrs. Hansen is survived by her one daughter, Mrs. Irene Justice of Central City, one sister, Mr. Hazel Hocking of Lincoln, one-son-in-law, Joe Justice of Central City; two grandsons, James and Jack Justice of Central City, two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Carolyn Snodgrass of Monterey Park, Calif and Mrs. Emma Snodgrass of Friend; several nieces and other more distant relatives. She was preceded in passing by her husband in 1937; one son, Walter, in 1951; five sisters; two brothers and both of her parents.
