Description	:	NevDel Anderson, age 86, passed away on May 14, 2012, at Laurens, Iowa. NevDel Nina Hartung was born on August 3, 1925, at Sioux Rapids. She was the daughter of Frank and Violet (Bowen) Hartung. NevDel was educated at Sioux Rapids, graduating from High School in 1943. On February 25, 1946, she married Delbert Anderson at Fort Dodge. The couple made their home in Marathon until 1953, when they moved to their farm near Marathon. Read More	NevDel Anderson, age 86, passed away on May 14, 2012, at Laurens, Iowa. NevDel Nina Hartung was born on August 3, 1925, at Sioux Rapids. She was the daughter of Frank and Violet (Bowen) Hartung. NevDel was educated at Sioux Rapids, graduating from High School in 1943. On February 25, 1946, she married Delbert Anderson at Fort Dodge. The couple made their home in Marathon until 1953, when they moved to their farm near Marathon. Delbert passed away on October 16, 1978, and later that year NevDel moved into Marathon to stay with her children. She entered the Laurens Good Samaritan Center in February of this year. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, playing cards, doing crossword puzzles and quilting. NevDel and her sister always made the mints for all special occasions in the family. She especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her sons: Michael (Kathy) Anderson of Marathon, Rick (Sandra) Anderson and Tim Anderson, both of Spencer; four grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and sisters, Marvel Buse of Albert City and Iowa Roberts of Portland, OR. NevDel was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Delbert and brother, Marvin.
