Born on June 3, 1915, in Rough Run, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Hugh Z. and Martha Rebecca (Bergdoll) Ours. Mrs. Groves and her husband, Earl, were life-time farmers in Grant County. She previously served on the Petersburg Southern States Womens Advisory Committee and served as trustee of Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church, Maysville, W.Va. Kirby; and two great-grandsons, Ryan Ashford Hedrick and Marc Bauer Hedrick. Friends will be received at the Schaeffer Funeral Home, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 2 p.m. with the Pastor Rebecca L.
