Burlington, died Monday night at the University hospital in Iowa City. He had been in failing health the past two and a half years. SAMONS was born Dec. 31, 1894 in Jefferson county, the son of George and Nellie READ (sic. REED) SAMONS. He married Myrtle GILLILAND on Sept. 6, 1916. She died May 11, 1932. The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral home where last rites are pending.
