Description	:	MRS. CHARLES L. HYDE Nola Ann Park, who was the second child of Robert L. and Hannah Careless Park, was born near Little Sioux, Harrison county, lowa, on January 24, 1891, and passed away on August I8, 1942, at the Decatur County Hospital, Leon, Iowa, being 51 years, 6 months, and 25 days of age at the time of her death. On January 24, 1911, she was united in marriage to Charles L. Hyde, and to this union five children were born, two of whom preceded her in death, a son, Paul Leverett, and a daughter, Hortense.... She is survived by her husband and three daughters, Mabel, Betty Ann, and Janice. Other near relatives are her sisters, Mrs. W. S. Parkin of Fairfield, Iowa, and a niece, Mrs. William Hari. Mrs. Hyde accepted the faith of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was baptized at Woodbine in 1913, by Elder S. B. Kibler. Throughout the years she followed the teachings of the church and instilled in her children the desire to adhere to its principles. With her family, she moved to Lamoni in 1933 after having lived at Woodbine, Harrison county, Iowa, and at Kellerton. Since living in this community she gave freely of her time to not only the church but also to other causes, including the Patroness Society, serving as its president for two years. Her thoughtfulness reached out to include a large group of college girls, each of whom will long remember her motherly counsel and happy association with her in her home. Kindness, consideration, and good cheer marked her association with her family and friends and through the practice of these virtues, she merited the devoted love of her family, the friendship and esteem of her neighbors and friends.
