Edwards, 85, 214 4th st., Vandercook Lake, formerly of Homer, widow of Charles Edwards, died in Albion Community hospital Tuesday morning soon after being admitted. She was born Dec. 16, 1886 in Wauseon, Ohio the daughter of Robert and Mary Jane (Good) Miller. On Dec. 25, 1902 she was married to Charles L. Edwards in McBain, Mich. and he preceded her in death Dec. 23, 1958. Mrs. Edwards has resided at Vandercooke Lake for six years and before that time lived in Albion and Homer area. She was a member of the Presbyterian church. Survivors include a son, Robert C. Edwards, Zanesville, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Mildred) Good, Mrs. S.C. (Blanche) Stephens, both of Jackson; Mrs. Gordon (Charlotte) Hepler of Hanover; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Nettie Palmer, Jackson. Funeral Service EDWARDS, MRS. CHARLES Vandercooke Lake Funeral services for Mrs. Charles Edwards, Vandercooke Lake, who died Tuesday morning in an Albion hospital will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Tidd-Williams chapel in Homer. The Rev. Joseph Shifler will officiate and interment will follow in Fisher cemetery, southeast of Homer. She was born Dec 16, 1886 in Wauseon, Ohio the daughter of Robert and Mary Jane [Good] Miller. On Dec 25, 1902 she was married to Charles L Edwards in McBain, Michigan, He died Dec 23, 1958. Mrs Edwards had resided at the Vandercook Lake address for 6 years before that in the Albion and Homer area. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
