Locklear. She retired after 34 years with Waverly Mills, Inc. and was a faithful member of Good News Chapel. Nora was a dedicated homemaker, enjoying cooking, canning, working in the yard, and reading. Read More	Nora Neal Clark Locklear was born November 6, 1941 in Robeson County, daughter of the late Lock Clark and Carrie Mae Chavis Clark and the devoted wife of 62 years to the late James W. To her family, she will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Nora passed away at the age of 80 on March 5, 2022. Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by brothers, Willie Clark, Lock Clark, Jr., James C. Clark, John Wesley Clark, J. C. Clark; sisters, Vashtie Lowery, Callie Mae Oxendine, Mae Helen Clark, Carrie Neal Clark, and great grandson, Jayden Cameron Driggers. Nora is survived by sons, James L. "Merk" Locklear of the home, Donald Wayne Locklear, Dwayne Locklear, both of Laurinburg; daughters, Nora Lee Locklear of the home, Cindy Locklear of Hamlet; brother, Donald Ray Clark (Savannah) of Maxton; sisters, Vera Lee Locklear, Sadie McGirt, both of Laurinburg, Eloise Locklear (Tom) of Gibson; grandchildren, Markus McKnight, Patrick Locklear, Kelia Warr, Chelsea Warr Rodriquez, Matthew Warr, Carlie Jernigan; raised as children, Natoshia Locklear Driggers, Lock Anthony Locklear, Chadrick Locklear, Brian Tyler; twenty great grandchildren; a host of loving nieces, special nephews; special friends, Ben and Eleanor Ammons, along with many friends. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Good News Chapel. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
