Description	:	Nora K. Skokan was born in Knox county, Nebraska, on August 21, 1915, on a farm near Niobrara. Here she lived with her parents, and together with her brothers attended the public schools, which included Niobrara High School. She was active in her school work and endeared herself to her schoolmates and to her friends. She was zealous in all her undertakings and through her zeal became an instructor in the girls division of the gymnastic order of Sokol for over three years, willingly giving of her time and efforts until she died on September 19, 1931.... Read More	Nora K. Skokan was born in Knox county, Nebraska, on August 21, 1915, on a farm near Niobrara. Here she lived with her parents, and together with her brothers attended the public schools, which included Niobrara High School. She was active in her school work and endeared herself to her schoolmates and to her friends. She was zealous in all her undertakings and through her zeal became an instructor in the girls division of the gymnastic order of Sokol for over three years, willingly giving of her time and efforts until she died on September 19, 1931. She was a member of the juvenile department of the Western Bohemian Fraternal Association of Niobrara and was ever faithful to the tenets of the order. Left to mourn her were her parents Mr. and Mrs. Louis F. Skokan, of Niobrara, and seven brothers: Edward and Emil of Omaha, Louis, William, George, Frank and Otto, all residing near Niobrara, and a host of relatives and friends. Interment was made at L’Eau Qui Court Cemetery in Niobrara. will be added later.
