Prall, 93, died Monday, May 5, 2003, at Highland Park Care Center. She was born Jan. 28, 1910, at Rosholt, S.D., to John Quincy and Nellie Belle (Briggs) Henderson. She and her family moved to Alliance when she was a small child. She was married to Charles Wilber "Bill" Prall on Oct. 6, 1926, at Alliance. Norma and Wilber raised her sister, Lillian May (Henderson) Bauer after the family separated by the death of their mother. Norma and Wilber owned and operated a popular hamburger shop, Norma's Lunch at Alliance for many years. After selling the hamburger shop they moved to Arkansas and bought a small farm where they lived for several years. They then moved back to Alliance and re-opened the hamburger shop for a few more years. They then opened and operated a coin and hobby shop until 1983 when they moved to the Good Samaritan Village. Norma continued her crafts and hobbies producing many beautiful items for family and friends. Her hobbies included, enjoying time with her many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews, as well as her other family and friends. She also enjoyed nature, befriending a succession of birds and squirrels that came to her house for feeding. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She is survived by her many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sisters Lillian Bauer and Thelma Gills, brothers Herbert Henderson, Howard Henderson, Johnny Henderson, and Gerald Henderson, twin brother Norman Henderson, and an infant son. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, at the First Baptist Church, with Rev. James Rowe officiating. Burial will be in the Alliance Cemetery.nor's choice. Bates-Gould Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
