Mehlhaff, daughter of Emil and Katie (Hieb) Mehlhaff was born May 15, 1923 at Eureka. She was raised on a farm southwest of Eureka, attending Eureka Public School, graduating with the class of 1942. She was united in marriage to Milbert J. Fauth on October 29, 1944 in the Eureka Reformed Church. Milbert and Norma were a hard working dedicated team of salt-of-the-earth farmers who loved the land and agriculture. They farmed for 69 years southeast of Eureka. Milbert passed away July 20, 2000. Norma had an outgoing personality. She immensely enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Norma is a member of Zion Lutheran Church at Eureka. Norma is survived by two daughters, Hazel Thompson and Suzette Hoevet; two grandsons; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Olive "Babe" (Allen) Weller and niece and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Hilton Mehlhaff, sister, Nancy Mehlhaff and one grandson, Colin Thompson.
