Yesterday Morning his friends were in town for a coffin for his little boy, five years old who had died of tyhoid fever during the night. The York Republican; 6 Dec 1882; p 2 Col 2 Notes from Danby Houston Precinct, November 17 Since the penning of our last notes we have mourned the loss of two of our little neighbor boys--Norman and Willie Taylor. Though their lives were so short, it is not improbable that the dying request of little Willie to his friends and classmates, "not to swear and to meet him in Heaven," may accomplish more than the work of many a life-time of three-score and ten. The recovery of the two other sick ones is now deemed certain. Norman was 5 years old in Nov, 1882. At a later date, the remains was re-interred in York's Greenwood Cemetery.
