Description	:	Norman was born in Leroy, Ohio. In 1863 he married Lydia Carpenter. They settled in Hambden, Ohio raised four children. Read More	Norman was born in Leroy, Ohio. In 1863 he married Lydia Carpenter. They settled in Hambden, Ohio raised four children. April 29, 1903 Geauga Republican p.1 We are pained to announce the death of our friend and neighbor Norman Radcliffe, aged sixty-three years, which occurred at his home about 3 o'clock p.m, Saturday, April 25. He had been in failing health for some time. Two years ago he had a cancer removed from his neck by doctors in Rome, N.Y., since which time he had been quite comfortable until about the first of the present year, when trouble began again, this time in his bowels. Drs. Pomeroy and Black pronounced it cancer and he went to Rome again, but was sent home without treatment. A post mortem examination Sunday revealed the cancer in his bowels. The deceased was married to Miss Lydia Carpenter December 31, 1863. Four children were born to them, all of whom are married and settled around them. He was a charter member of Hambden Grange and held the office of overseer at the time of his death. A kind husband and father, he was a man respected by all. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 28, at 2 o'clock at the M.E. Church, Rev. Griffin preaching. Ms. Radcliffe has moved back to the farm, now, occupied by her daughter, Mamie Gridley and family.
