Description	:	Norris Cooper Norris Lowel Cooper, only son of George F. and Christie E. (Kerr) Cooper, was born July 22, 1920 and died at his home March 4, 1935 at the age of fourteen years, seven months and ten days. He was a freshman in Sheridan Community High School and an interested pupil in all school activities. He was interested in life and the future. Norris was very thoughtful and considerate of his associates and his death, after a short illness, was a shock to everyone. He will be sadly missed by his relatives and friends. (Kerr) Cooper, was born July 22, 1920 and died at his home March 4, 1935 at the age of fourteen years, seven months and ten days. He was a freshman in Sheridan Community High School and an interested pupil in all school activities. He was interested in life and the future. Norris was very thoughtful and considerate of his associates and his death, after a short illness, was a shock to everyone. He will be sadly missed by his relatives and friends. He leaves to mourn his untimely death his parents, two sisters, Violet and Imogene, two Grandfathers, I.M. Cooper of Hoxie and T.R. Kerr, of Stanberry, Missouri, several aunts and uncles and a host of Friends. Funeral services were held at the Hoxie Methodist Church Wednesday, March 6th, at 2:30 p.m., the pastor Rev. R.R. Bradick officiating. The Freshman Class of the Sheridan Country High School attended in a body to pay respect to a beloved classmate. The pallbearers were Victor Wegman, Jesse Charles, Howard Haynes, Norman Russell, Charles Montgomery and Charles Moss. The choir was also chosen from the student body, namely the Misses Nettie James, Ruth Miner, Eva Lee Peterson, Della Mae Dick and Messrs Edward Koster, Clifford Crum and Clarence McCellan with Wilburms Harris as pianist, Miss Marguerite Crum and Prof. Raymond Darland of the faculty sang a duet, "Whispering Hope." Interment was made in the Hoxie Cemetery. Relatives who attended the funeral from Glen Elder: Mr. and Mrs. D.S Wright, Edna and Warren, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Neff, Mr. and Mrs., Geo. Kohler, Mr and Mrs Frank Stouffer; and Ed Kohler.
