Surviving are his wife, Judy Locklear of the home; his mother, Beatrice Locklear of Laurinburg; eight surviving shared children: five daughters, Deborah Pate of Belmont, Texas, Amanda Locklear of the home, Ashley Locklear and Wenona Metze, both of Maxton, and Carol Pettit of Lumberton; three sons, William Stubbs of Rockingham, Issac Locklear of the home and William Lambert of Maxton; two brothers, Gene E. Locklear and Mitchell D. Locklear, both of Laurinburg; four sisters, Martha E. Lowery of Pembroke, Wilma L. Bowen, Eunice M. Lowery and Margaret E. Ammons, all of Laurinburg; 16 shared grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
