He attained the age of 83 years, 1 month and 22 days. Mr. Lilly, son of Mr. and Mrs. Grover Lilly, was born October 4, 1874, on a farm near Le Mars, Iowa. Lilly, of Westfield, Iowa, a pioneer resident of southwest Plymouth county, passed away November 26, 1957, in a Sioux City hospital, as the result of neck injuries sustained in an accident. He attained the age of 83 years, 1 month and 22 days. Mr. Lilly, son of Mr. and Mrs. Grover Lilly, was born October 4, 1874, on a farm near Le Mars, Iowa. The family moved to a farm near Westfield when he was 10 years old. He was united in marriage with Jennie Lilly in August, 1901, and three sons, Olin, Jr., Clare and Wayne, were born to this union. Olin Jr., and Wayne preceded their father in death. Mr. Lilly engaged in farming all his life and lived on the same farm 78 years. He was held in high esteem by all who knew him. Surviving are his wife, Jennie; one son, Clare, of Westfield, and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the home last Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Albert Walker, pastor of Westfield Congregational church, and Rev. Joseph Castle, of Wesley-Methodist church, Sioux City. Burial was in Akron Riverside cemetery.
