Read More	Death Takes Mrs. John Hildreth The community was saddened on last Thursday to learn of the death of Mrs. John Hildreth, which occurred at the family home that afternoon. Her death was not at all unexpected, as she had been a constant sufferer for several months. Olive G. Walton was born in Allen county, Ohio on September 11, 1844 and died in Creighton, Nebr. on July 8, 1826. She came with her parents to Spring Grove, Ia. at the age of but a year, where she spent her girlhood. On April 15, 1867 she was united in marriage to John W. Hildreth. This union was blessed with seven children, four sons and three daughters, two of the girls dying in infancy. She is survived by her husband, one sister, three brothers and four sons, namely, James of Center, Harry F. of Algona, Wash., Parker and John of Creighton and one daughter, Mrs. Annie Hathaway of Creighton, besides 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Mrs. Hildreth was a splendid type of woman and was loved by all for her kind acts and assistance in time of depression. She was a constant companion of her husband, who is blind and a Civil War veteran and his guidance depended a great deal on her. Funeral services were held from the Methodist church on Sunday afternoon, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Littrell. The church was overflowing with friends present at the last rites. The remains were interred in the Greenwood cemetery. To the bereaved relatives, we extend our heartfelt sympathy.
