She was born on December 19, 1926 near Climax, Kansas the daughter of Pinkney Levi and Margaret Ethel (Snider) Barnes. She attended school in Eureka, Neal and Severy country schools. After her schooling, she married Gordon “Jack” Faulkner and lived in Severy. To this union, two children were born, James Gordon Faulkner, and Gregory Lee Faulkner. Read More	Olive Maxine Miller, of Eureka, died on February 11, 2015 at the Eureka Nursing Center in Eureka at the age of 88. She was born on December 19, 1926 near Climax, Kansas the daughter of Pinkney Levi and Margaret Ethel (Snider) Barnes. She attended school in Eureka, Neal and Severy country schools. After her schooling, she married Gordon “Jack” Faulkner and lived in Severy. To this union, two children were born, James Gordon Faulkner, and Gregory Lee Faulkner. After her divorce, Maxine moved to Coffeyville and married Carl Clark making their home in Tyro. She worked at Medicalodge in Coffeyville working her way up to administrator. Carl preceded her in death. Later she married Charles Miller and they made their home in Dearing. Charles preceded her in death. She moved back to Eureka, in 1993. She enjoyed the outdoors, flowers, birds, gardening and and fishing. She was a loyal friend and beloved and caring sister. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Severy United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son, Gregory Faulkner of Severy; step-son, Steve Clark of Joplin, MO; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ila Mae Clements of El Dorado; and Ellen Berniece White of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and one son, James G. Faulkner, three brothers, Harold, Clyde, and Merle Barnes, and two sisters, Mildred Marshall, and Wanda Nelson.
