Barker, was born December 11, 1882, and died August 15, 1966, aged 83 years, 8 months and 4 days. Mrs. Bennett was born in Pawnee County, Nebraska; and Nebraska was always her home until the last five years. On August 1st of this year, "Ollie" as she was known, sustained a fractured hip. Recovery seemed well under way, but she died quite unexpectedly on the evening of August 15th at a Tulsa, Oklahoma, hospital. On June 1, 1904, she was married to Frank L. Bennett, Jr. To this marriage were born five children: three sons, and two daughters. Preceding her in death were her husband, Frank and sons, Franklin and Gerald.Surviving of her immediate family are Donald of Tulsa, Okla., Doris (Mrs. LaVern Leischuck) of Wichita, Kans., and Marjorie (Mrs. C. L. Van Horne) of San Rafael, Calif. For the three years preceding her death, Mrs. Bennett's home was at the "Presbyterian Mansion," a lovely home for elderly women at Norman, Okla., where she seemed quite happy and content. Certainly, she was much loved by the other members of the home. Mrs. Bennett became a member of the First Presbyterian Church at Pawnee City, June 5, 1904, and was a member of that church for over 62 years. Besides her children, she leaves 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, also one sister, Mrs. Mabel A. Davis, and one brother, Claude A. Barker, both of Pawnee City.
