Description	:	First child of Francis and Eva Taylor Reis. Married April 8, 1925 to Margaret Ann Hinrichsen. Father of Robert Lee Reis. Omer was a security guard at Safeway and Burns Agency. Omer, Marge and Bob lived on a small acreage at 7940 Drexel, Omaha, Nebraska for most of their lives. They had a horse, chickens and a large garden that they loved tending to. Reis, son of Francis and Eva Reis, was born at Richfield March 26, 1903 and died at Omaha January 23, 1972 at the age of 68 years, 9 months and 27 days. On April 8, 1925 he was united in marriage with Margaret Hinrichsen at Zion Lutheran Church by Pastor K.M. Neirman. He was a charter member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church at 90th and Q Streets. Mr. Reis is survived by his wife, Margaret; son, Robert, both of Omaha; three sisters, Mrs. John (Mildred) Hinrichsen, Pawnee City, Miss Dorothy Reis, and Mrs. Raymond (Vera) Hotz, both of Papillion, and a brother, Lloyd Reis, Detroit, Mich. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Beautiful Savior Churcxh with the Rev. James Schmidt officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers were George Thuman, Kenneth Harrison, Donald Reis, John Dulaney, Goodheart Neilson and Ronald Rookstool. Kahler Mortuary, Papillion, was in charge of arrangements.
