Description	:	Mrs. Opal Hoover Webb, 45 years of age, wife of Floyd Webb of the Sandbank community, dropped dead in her home Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, death being due to a sudden heart attack. Mrs. Webb was apparently in perfect health, had not been ill and was preparing to attend a meeting of the Ladies Aid society of the Sandbank church, at the home of Mrs. R.G. Sifred. She had dressed and the husband had gone to the garage to get the car to take her to the meeting. When she did not appear he entered the home... Mrs. Webb was apparently in perfect health, had not been ill and was preparing to attend a meeting of the Ladies Aid society of the Sandbank church, at the home of Mrs. R.G. Sifred. She had dressed and the husband had gone to the garage to get the car to take her to the meeting. When she did not appear he entered the home and discovered her dead on the floor of the home. The shock was one hard to bear and Mr. Webb was overcome. Help was summoned by telephone and in a short time a number of relatives and friends were with the bereaved husband, who has the sympathy of all. Mrs. Webb, was born on a farm in the Sandbank community where she spent her entire life. She was one of eight children born to William M. and Ida May Hoover and 22 years ago was united in marriage to Floyd Webb. No children survive the marriage but in addition to the husband and parents she is survived by a brother Russell Hoover residing east of Tipton, and three sisters; Mrs. Charles Woodruff and Mrs. Orville Hartman of Indianapolis and Mrs. Hallie Achenbach residing near Tipton. Mrs. Webb was for years one of the popular and well liked residents of this community, a devout Christian and a woman active in social and church affairs. From childhood she had been a member of the Sandbank Christian church and active in all departments of church work. On account of the suddenness of the death, which occurred about 2 o'clock, Ralph R. McMullan, county coroner was called to make an investigation and he attributed death to an acute heart attack, Her father William M. Hoover was a former treasurer of Tipton County.
