Description	:	Orah “Orrie” Vinton Wise, in Page County, was born June 26, 1875 and died in the Nevada hospital on March 13, 1958 at the age of 82 years and 9 months. He was married on December 24, 1895 in Red Oak, Iowa to Ollie Bunker, who died in 1931. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Maude Means, Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Mae Mullen, Ames, Iowa, by four granddaughters and two great grandchildren, as well as by a number of nieces, nephews, and other near relatives. A son, J. Vinton, died in 1952. Mr. Wise farmed for several years.... A son, J. Vinton, died in 1952. Mr. Wise farmed for several years. He moved to Villisca where he operated an automobile dealership and later a service station and agency for the Sinclair Refining Company. In 1945, he moved to San Francisco and in 1952 to Ames, Iowa, where he resided at his death. He was a member of the First Methodist Church in Villisca. Funeral services for Mr. Wise were held Saturday, March 16, at the Methodist church in Villisca with Rev. Paul C. Ellis conducting. Mrs. Lynn D. Hull sang, accompanied by Mrs. Richard Smithson. Pall bearers were Carl J. Remley, Paul Burns, Herbert Arthur, Dennis Brown, Harry Mullen, and Everett Mullen. Burial was in the Villisca Cemetery. Friends and relatives from out of town attending the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Joe Means, Dallas, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Mullen, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Bemen and son, Michael, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Arthur and son Dick, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Brown all of Ames, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Remley, and Mrs. William D. Wise of Glenwood, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. :Paul Burns and daughter Joellen, Kansas City, Missouri, and Mrs. J. C. Still of Omaha, Nebraska.
