Obituary Everyone was shocked Thursday when over the wires came a message from Kansas City telling us that Oral Heath, who was taken to Kansas City to be operated on for appendicitis, had died. Obituary Everyone was shocked Thursday when over the wires came a message from Kansas City telling us that Oral Heath, who was taken to Kansas City to be operated on for appendicitis, had died. Death is sad at all times but when one is taken so early in life, is doubly sad and hard to become reconciled to. He was a good noble boy with a bright, sunny disposition,and to know him was to be his friend. William Oral Heath, son of Mr. and Mrs. Millard Heath, was born in Andrew County, Mo., Feb. 16, 1897, and died in Bethany hospital in Kansas City, Aug. 14, 1913, aged 16 years, 5 months and 28 days. When yet a babe of two years, he with his parents moved to Allen County, Kans., where he has since resided. His illness was but a few short days, and everything that loving hands and medical aid could do was done, but God called him Home. He will be missed in the home, in the Sunday School of which he was a member, in the Mildred High School where he was a faithful student, and in the community where he was so well known and respected. He leaves his mother, father, one sister and one brother and many relatives and friends to mourn for him. The funeral services were conducted at the Fairview church Sunday afternoon, by Rev. Shulenberger of Kincaid. The church would not hold all who came to pay their last respects to their beloved friend. --Submitted by Vickie
