Description	:	Orrin M. Grannis was born in Portage county, Atwater township, Ohio, September 12, 1818. At the age of sixteen he came with his parents to Lima, LaGrange county, Indiana, where he grew to manhood. August 4, 1845, he was married to Mary W. Crandell. To this union were born five children, three dying young. His son Ivory, died April 20, 1886. One daughter, Mrs. W. W. Frink, her husband and three grandchildren, Ralph and Arch Frink, and Lester Grannis, are left to mourn their loss. He united with the M. E. church at Flint, Indiana, in 1862.... Read More	Orrin M. Frink, her husband and three grandchildren, Ralph and Arch Frink, and Lester Grannis, are left to mourn their loss. He united with the M. E. church at Flint, Indiana, in 1862. In 1886, he and his wife moved to Kansas. Since the fall of 1890 they have made their home with their daughter. On April 30, 1893, the wife and mother, after years of poor health, was called to the home that awaits all who trust in the Lord. He was a man of unusual vigor for one of his age. He united with the M. E. church at Cimarron, of which he continued a faithful member until God called him home on the 17th of February, 1902, at the age of 83 yeas, 5 months and 5 days. Funeral services were held February 20, in the M. E. church at Cimarron, Rev. Gross, officiating. Burial in the city cemetery. STEUBEN REPUBLICAN Wednesday, March 5, 1902, p. 1, col. 6.
