Description	:	Born and rasied on the family farm to Fred and Anna (Poppe) Von Seggern. He attended District 60 school and graduated from Scribner High School. He married his high school sweet heart Voline Kienbourm on December 6-1944 and they were wed for 73 years. Orville began his professional music career at the age of 14 and after his schooling, he began farming and continued his music career, playing with various bands including Lee's Merry Men and Dick Wickman Band before starting his own band. He attended District 60 school and graduated from Scribner High School. He married his high school sweet heart Voline Kienbourm on December 6-1944 and they were wed for 73 years. Orville began his professional music career at the age of 14 and after his schooling, he began farming and continued his music career, playing with various bands including Lee's Merry Men and Dick Wickman Band before starting his own band. Orville played mostly around the area but he did play in New York City several times. His band The Orville Von Seggern Orchestra, played in Nebraska and surrounding states before retiring at the age of 80, making him, at the time, the oldest band leader. He played for over 100 weddings and funerals also. Orville and Volline were charter members of Rejoice Lutheran Church in Omaha for 45 years.
