Description	:	Oscar LeRoy Doggett, son of Ben Doggett and Eunice (Jacobs) Doggett, was born in Seward, Nebraska, on January 4, 1916, and departed this life on January 2, 1990, in the Brodstone Memorial Nuckolls County Hospital in Superior, Nebraska, at the age of 73 years, 11 months and 30 days. On April 19, 1945, he was married to Wilma Prachejl in Belleville, Kansas. This union was blessed with a son, John. Oscar worked in construction and was employed by Nuckolls County Road Department where he was a cat operator. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Wilma on December 14, 1981; and a brother Benny Doggett. He is survived by his son John and his wife Shelly of Great Bend, Kansas; a brother, Cleo Doggett and his wife Helen of Nelson; a sister, Ruth Winchester of Gibbon, Nebraska; a grandson, John Patrick Doggett; other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, January 6, 1990, at 10:30 a.m. from the Klawitter-Price Funeral Home Chapel in Nelson, Nebraska, with Rev. Royce Buchtel, pastor of Nelson Community United Church of Christ, officiating. Music was provided by Joe Ferebee, soloist, singing "One Day At A Time" with Dot Ferebee as organist and accompanist. Casketbearers were Royce Schott, Ward Chapman, Don McCartney, Earl Adamson, Ted Madson and Paul Buresh. Burial was in the Nelson Cemetery near Nelson, Nebraska.
