When he was a few weeks old he went with his parents to Missouri where they lived until 1896 when they returned to Rice, Kansas, where they settled on a farm. Read More	Concordia Press 16 Apr 1925 - Oscar Okla Lundy, son of Jonathan and Hulda Lundy, was born August 20, 1891, at Waterloo, Oklahoma. When he was a few weeks old he went with his parents to Missouri where they lived until 1896 when they returned to Rice, Kansas, where they settled on a farm. He spent his boyhood days there and grew to oung manhood. In 1912 he was married o Miss Aneta Darling and to them was born one son, Francis. He went into the employ of the Santa Fe in 1918 and has been in their employ until the time of his death. He was taken suddenly ill on March 26th and underwent two operations but seemed to get no relief. He passed away on Saturday, April 11th, at the age of thirty-three years. The deceased had made his plans some five weeks ago to unite with the Methodist Church at Easter time. He wished this because his little son was to unite at the same time and he thought it would be much nicer if the entire family were members of the church. Realizing that he would not be able to carry out his wishes he asked his pastor to come to the hospital, baptize and receive him into the church, which was done Sunday evening, April 5th. He was a member of the Knights of the Klu Klux Klan and held it next to the church because he believed in the lofty ideals and teachings of this organization. He talked frequently with his wife concerning what he called the beautiful principles and teachings of the Klan. Certainly the floral offerings and the host of friends that gathered on this day bespeak the integrity of the deceased and the esteem in which he was held by all who knew him. Many said he never had an enemy among those who knew him.
