Brown, the son of Marion and Jennie Richards Brown, was born Sept. 14h, 1886, in Wilburn (sic), Kan. He was married to Birdie Brown Nov. 8th, 1908, in Emporia, and she died in 1918. He was married to Eva Brown March 20th, 1919, in Emporia. He was a member of the Grace Methodist Church. Preceded in death by two brothers, Urban and Wilburn, and by one sister, Leona Huested, he is survived by his wife, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Elmer Whipple, Norborne, Mo.; two brothers, Roy, Lavonia, Mich., and Albert H., Rt. 2; two sisters, Mrs. Edgar Anderson, Wichita, and Mrs. Harry Campbell, Lyons, Colo.; two granddaughters, Mrs. C. W. Cloyd, Salisbury, Mo.; and Mrs. William H. Gooch, Norborne, and by six great-grandchildren.
