Mr. Zwiebel passed away in an Alliance hospital January 17, 1952 He was born August 24, 1882 in Montreal Ohio. The family moved to this community in 1892 and Mr. Zwiebel the country school No. 24, this school is now Two Rivers school. Mr. Zwiebel passed away in an Alliance hospital January 17, 1952 He was born August 24, 1882 in Montreal Ohio. The family moved to this community in 1892 and Mr. Zwiebel the country school No. 24, this school is now Two Rivers school. Mr. Zwiebel met and married Miss Lucy Belle Cobb on December 22, 1903 at Elkhornn Nebr. The couple left this community in 1909 and moved to Atkinson and Stuart, Nebr., where they were engaged in ranching and later operated a meat market in Stuart. In 1929 they moved to Gordon, Nebr. Where they operated a café until 1946, retiring due to failing health of Mr. Zwiebel. Last rites were conducted at the Swanson Funeral Home in Valley with Rev Dale Kamrath pastor of Valley Baptist-Presbyterian church, officiating. There was no singing but Miss Joan Theobald presided at the organ. Burial was in Prospect Hill cemetery. Pallbears were Ben Hirt, Romaine Btown, William Zimmerly, John clark, Frank Safford, and Charles Safford all of Waterloo. Surviving are his wife Lucy Belle of San Fernando, Calif., three children, sons Alfred of Hatlan, Iowa; Lewis Arthur, Omaha; daughter Mrsl Gertrude Jespersen, San Fernando, Calif.; brothers A. L. Zwiebel of Waterloo; Lawrence Zwiebel, Morrill, Nebr; Ed Zwiebel, Syracuse, Nebr; sister Mrs. Edith Burke, Manhattan Beach , Calif.
